Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. Welcomes Deepa Massand Vaswani as Director of Strategic Growth
New York, NY— Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), a national engineering and construction management firm, is pleased to announce that Deepa Massand Vaswani has joined the firm as Director of Strategic Growth. Based in GPI’s Manhattan office, Deepa will focus on business development and growth initiatives throughout the New York metropolitan region, with an emphasis on vertical construction and building systems services.
Deepa brings more than 30 years of experience spanning architecture, engineering, construction management, and strategic marketing within the design and construction industry. Her career uniquely bridges technical expertise and business strategy, positioning her to support GPI’s long-term growth objectives while strengthening relationships with public agencies, architects, and institutional clients.
In her new role, Deepa will collaborate closely with GPI’s Metro New York leadership and marketing team to develop and execute growth strategies aligned with the firm’s 2025–2030 Growth Plan. Her efforts will focus on expanding GPI’s presence in building systems design and construction management, while supporting client engagement across New York City and the broader metropolitan area. She will also contribute to growth opportunities working with GPI’s Melville headquarters office.

Prior to joining GPI, Deepa held senior leadership roles in marketing and business development for engineering firms in the Tri-State area, while also serving in architectural and project coordination capacities on complex infrastructure and transportation and programs. Her experience includes extensive work with public agencies in New York and Connecticut, as well as leadership roles supporting large, multi-disciplinary project teams. She holds an MBA from Columbia University and a degree in Architecture from University College London.
