How GPI & Its Partners Are Strengthening Urban Resilience Through Cupix’s Construction Technology

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) and its partners are collaborating on a climate resiliency project that enhances protection for at-risk areas in the northeastern United States with new steel floodgates, concrete walls, and upgraded utility infrastructure to better withstand storm surges. Project controls manager, Ameya Talekar, recently explored the use of Cupix in the case study, “How GPI & Its Partners Are Strengthening Urban Resilience Through Cupix’s Construction Technology.”

Using Cupix, GPI was able to save 4–5 hours per week on progress monitoring, along with streamlining BIM clash detection with real-world conditions, enabling faster scheduling decisions without field visits, and building a timestamped visual project directory that supports dispute avoidance and multi-agency coordination.
“With Cupix, you can identify if the upcoming structure is going to clash with the existing structure or facilities and also take required measurements,” Ameya explains. Read the full case study here.
