GPI provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for Accenture Federal Services. This project continues GPI’s long‑standing relationship with the client, for whom the firm has completed over a dozen projects, including the full‑floor design completed in 2019 at the same location of this newest renovation.
The project involved the phased renovation and fit‑out of a 27,000-SF workplace to support evolving operational, technology, and collaboration needs. GPI’s scope included engineering design for flexible, technology‑intensive spaces such as a large Rumble Room, collaboration hubs, immersion and experience labs, AI studios, shops, and open work areas, along with private offices, conference rooms with operable partitions, welcome and reception areas, café and lounge spaces, and support areas throughout the floor. Services included base building system reconfigurations, HVAC zoning and noise mitigation measures, supplemental cooling for high‑density and AV‑focused spaces, power and data infrastructure for IT rooms, equipment racks, furniture systems, signage, feature lighting, and AV walls, as well as plumbing design for pantries, coffee stations, living room sinks, and restroom renovations and relocations.
This project received the 2026 IIDA Premiere Design Award – Corporate.
