Our design also accommodates a future expansion area to support additional programs. Building improvements included design for an upgraded electrical service from 2000A to 4000A and a redesigned electrical distribution system. New mechanical systems, including dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS), rooftop units, and split systems were added throughout the facility, while select existing systems were repurposed to align with the updated layout. Interior modifications included design for the addition of auto bays with compressed air and power distribution; eighty welding booths with dedicated electrical systems and safety shutoffs; electronics labs with cord reels, fire alarm training panels, and motor station power; and HVAC classrooms equipped with powered training counters and emergency shutoff systems. Plumbing work involved design for extensive upgrades to support new restrooms, training equipment, compressed air systems, gas distribution, and various support spaces. Exterior improvements were also completed, including design for new pole and building-mounted lighting and updated signage. GPI has also provided engineering design services for several other Lincoln Tech campuses, including locations in Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; and Levittown, PA. We are currently providing design services for Lincoln Tech’s South Plainfield, NJ and Melrose Park, IL campuses.
