GPI is responsible for representing Renaissance Technologies and DELL for a new development project to help expand the 53-acre, Renaissance Headqaurters with a new mobile data center and power generation plant.
Our scope includes providing civil engineering expertise and expert representation for Renaissance to the Town of Brookhaven to design and help expedite this project. The project includes a new 2000KVA mobile data center (MDC), power generation plant (generator/power module), loading dock, new utility upgrades, EV-charging stations, and expansive landscape design services on over four acres. Our design scope includes expansive drainage design, major utility upgrades, complex structural engineering, landscape architecture, survey coordination, roadway upgrades, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and construction support and inspection.
The GPI management scope includes expert representation and testimony at public town hearings, coordination and permitting with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Fish & Wildlife, NYSDEC – Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Suffolk County Department of Health Services (SCDHS), Suffolk County Department of Public Works (SCDPW), New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), PSEG-LI, and the Town of Brookhaven’s Planning, Law, Environmental, Fire, Engineering, and Building Departments.
