GPI provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and civil engineering services for the conversion of an existing three-story school into one-bedroom apartments.
The Roosevelt Lofts, developed by JBAS Realty, have been transformed from an 84-year-old school into high-end residential units in Archbald, PA. Construction started in 2021, reflecting JBAS Realty’s commitment to restoring historic structures rather than tearing them down and rebuilding.
Each modern apartment, ranging from 675 to 850 sqft, contributes to the building’s total of 24,000 sqft. Engineering services included conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation. GPI also provided a topographic survey and developed a site lighting plan. Each unit now boasts a kitchen, living room, office area, bedroom, and bathroom, making the Roosevelt Lofts a perfect blend of historic charm and modern living.
