The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) stands as a vital organization ensuring the provision of essential water and wastewater services throughout the environmentally sensitive region of the Florida Keys.
Established to address the growing needs of the local population and safeguard the delicate ecosystem, the FKAA plays a vital role in sustaining both residential communities and the diverse marine life that thrives in the area.
UESI, a wholly owned subsidiary of GPI, had the opportunity to assist the FKAA with improvements to the existing revetment along the 36-inch underwater, potable water transmission main at six specified culvert crossing locations, and for the installation of underwater crossing warning signs at 18 bridge or culvert crossing locations.
