GPI provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services for Morning Consult’s relocation to a new 50,000-SF office.
Morning Consult, a data intelligence firm specializing in market research, choose the historic Woodies Building in the Penn Quarter neighborhood for its new headquarters. Once home to the Woodward & Lothrop department store, the 19th-century-era structure presented several engineering challenges, including multiple floor levels. GPI coordinated closely with the architect and Morning Consult to ensure that new mechanical systems integrated into their aesthetic vision for the renovated space while also providing enhanced ventilation for boost indoor air quality for its hybrid work force. The result was an award-winning design for the LEED-certified office, which includes an array of multi-purpose and event spaces. A catering pantry, breakout areas, high-end conference rooms, training room, open collaboration areas, a café, and wellness/prayer rooms round out the space.
This project IS LEED Certified and received the 2022 IIDA Corporate Award.
