GPI’s first asset management project was awarded in 1995 from the NJDOT for outdoor advertising. Since then, we have been using technology to lead the field in creating and finding new and innovative ways to perform asset management, such as using mobile LiDAR and the creation of the HyRoad and NightRider software application. Over the past 20 years, we have implemented over 100 various asset management systems, including 35 sign management systems. Some of the most significant projects include the Sign Inventory Management System (5.5 million signs) for the NYCDOT and the Statewide Sign Management and Asset Inventory System covering all signs, manholes, and catch basins over 6,000 miles of roadway in Massachusetts.
